About the Intergroup
The Intergroup serves as a liason between all of the groups in the area and serves as a centralized location for meeting lists, event listings, and other information that the groups individually cannot handle alone (i.e. Prisons, Public Information, Treatment Centers etc). Additionally, the intergroup serves as the first line contact for alcoholics reaching out for help by operating an answering service and using the pager system. The intergroup also maintains the Central Office, which serves as a place where groups can purchase literature.
